- McConnell Says No Cap-and-Trade

In a Wall Stree Journal video interview, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky) says that with the recent gains by repblicans in the US Legislature, there may be a way to move forward on energy and climate in cooperation with President Obama and the Democrats.
McConnell says that cap-and-trade will not be on the table. However, he said that nuclear, clean coal and electric vehicles are areas of potential agreement.
It appears that the threat of legislation facing HFCs used in fire suppression of last year have faded entirely for the time being.
