A new report by the International Energy Administration says that 2010 emissions of CO2 - the most prevalent global warming gas - took a huge jump. The increase is the biggest leap on record and is alarmingly from a climate change perspective.

Part of the report actually includes emissions of HFCs, such as are used in fire suppression. Such reports are likely to increase international pressure for regulation of HFCs.
